At a time when art and the "creative mind" have been greatly de-emphasized in
many public school curriculums, ACP considers these skills and competencies
a necessity for youth advancement.
ARTS & CULTURAL ENRICHMENT
The ACP Arts and Cultural Enrichment Program is designed to provide youth with both cognitive and creative competencies and skills through an understanding and appreciation of the creative and liberal arts. This art and cultural "intelligence" supplies youth with the ability and motivation to navigate and affirmatively respond to differences among groups and individuals of diverse backgrounds, interest, and traditions.
