Site Coordinator
Position Overview:
- Providing management and logistical coordination of the daily operation
of the after school program at multiple sites, including scheduling, room assignments, and facility needs for all program providers
- Providing support and direction for the operation of field trips, exhibitions, assemblies, community events, performances, and other special
programming needs
- Managing, coordinating, training, evaluating and providing leadership to the parent and child safety and support team at multiple sites.
- Managing tutors and multiple sites
- Working with staff to implement procedures for program documentation,
daily attendance rosters and other reporting needs
- Developing and coordinating collaborations with school site teachers, administration, program providers, community representatives and individuals, and school site and other venues as appropriate
- Individuals report to the Executive Director of Operations. Site Coordinator
will be located in one or more of the following targeted Baltimore City areas: Edison/BelAir, Patterson Park, Franklin Square, and West Baltimore.
Primary Responsibilities:
To perform this job satisfactorily, the individual must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily:
- Tutor elementary students in one or more of the following areas;
- Educational: Math, English, Spanish, Reading, Writing, History
- Enrichment: Music, Performing Arts, Crafts, Sports, other
- Perform analyses to evaluate and measure success and progress of tutoring class and program.
- Management of a minimum of 5 tutors
Skills:
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Prefer applications have prior experience working with children
- Must have prior experience working in an administration capacity
Requirements:
- Must have own transportation
- Enjoy working with children and seeing them succeed
- Must agree to a background check
- Must agree to a drug test
Number of Positions: 2
Range of Hours: 12noon - 6pm
Salary: Varies
